Founded in 1973, Shamrock Park is located
just 10 minutes off I-94 at US Route 31 and is owned and operated by the Village of Berrien
Springs. Just 12 miles to Lake Michigan's beautiful beaches with many farm markets,
u-picks and wineries nearby.
Shamrock Park is a year-round camping and
fishing park complete with clean restrooms, showers, boat launch, sanitary dump
station and fish cleaning station. For your added convenience and comfort, both the
restrooms and the fish cleaning station are heated in the winter. For your convenience, the
Park Manager resides right here at the Park.
At Shamrock Park, our main attraction is
fishing and nature. There are several privately owned and operated charter boat
services available at the park. In addition to our campsites, we have 3 cabins that sleep
4 each. They are heated and open year around. Many sites and the cabins are located right
on the bank of the river.

Bring the family! There is
nothing better than spending time with the kids, fishing, camping, roasting
marshmallows over an open fire, and just being together as a family. Camping is fun any time and
Fall along the St Joe River is beautiful.
Plan an inexpensive camping weekend with us this winter! We keep our roads plowed all winter. Our boat launch is open and the fish are biting! We have 3, heated, log cabins. Many fishermen stay in them while doing some winter fishing either on their own or with a charter. The shower and restroom building is kept warm all winter. As the St. Joseph River does not freeze over, several charters use our launch for some great winter fishing. (Check the links listed above for Charter Services) Come enjoy the fishing and the pretty winter season at Shamrock Park. Also, there is some great cross-country skiing near us, at Love Creek Nature Center. Stay in one of our cabins, go skiing, and then come back to have a winter campfire and a warm place to sleep. Call for snow conditions. If you need to be in our area for work or just for pleasure, most of our full-hookup campsites are open all winter.
