Founded in 1973, Shamrock Park is a beautiful campground on the bank of the St. Joseph River that is owned and operated by the Village of Berrien Springs. We are located 10 miles off I-94 on Old US Highway 31, just 12 miles to the city of St. Joseph and Lake Michigan's beautiful sandy beaches, and only 2 miles from Andrews University and the Berrien County Youth Fairgrounds. There are many farm markets, U-picks, and wineries in the area for you to visit.

Shamrock Park is a year-round camping and fishing park complete with modern restrooms and showers, DNR built boat ramp, fish cleaning station, and sanitary dump station. Both the restrooms and the fish cleaning station are heated in the winter. For your convenience, the Park Manager resides right here at the Park.

Fish for salmon, steelhead, walleye, and more. There are several privately owned and operated charter boat services available at the Park. Bring your own boat or just come to relax and enjoy beautiful Southwest Michigan.

The campground has a total of 93 sites with 20 more large, full hookup sites projected to open Spring of 2012. All of our full hookup sites are choice of 30 or 50 amp electrical service. Several are large, pull-thru sites. Our other sites are either water and electric, just electric, or total primitive. Many of our full hookup sites are even open during the winter.

We have three cabins that can each sleep a max of 4 people. They are heated and open all year. The cabins, along with many of our sites, are located right on the River's bank.

If you are in the area for work or play, plan to stay with us. We have daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Check our Rate Page for all our rates, park policies, and a map of the Park.

Our 10 new pull-through full hookup sites opened last May. These will accomodate the larger RVs, with room to spare. This summer our 20 new back-in full hookup sites will be complete and ready for camping groups and family get togethers. Keep watch for our upcoming open house and official ribbon cutting ceremony, currently planned for early June 2012.

Shamrock Park is the perfect place to meet with old friends and make new ones. Camp, fish,(several good charters are available to help you catch the big one) or enjoy nature trails (Love Creek, Sarett, and Fernwood). Shamrock Park is a "back to basics" campground. We will not always be announcing activities over a loud speaker. We will provide a friendly and clean place for you to enjoy a relaxing time with your family and friends.
